Research Interests:

 The Quaternary climate and geomagnetic field evolutions are the main subjects. My special interests include centennial-decadal scale features of geomagnetic reversal transitions, the geomagnetic field’s effects on climate through modulations of galactic cosmic rays flux, eustatic sea level variations, monsoon changes, and hominid evolution and dispersion in Africa and Eurasia.

Recent research projects are:
1. Centennial scale features of geomagnetic reversal transition fields
2. Galactic cosmic ray-induced cloud-albedo effect on climate
3. Europian and Asian monsoon changes, and the Quaternary climate system
4. Paleoenvironmental study of precipitation changes during a global warming
5. Paleomagnetic and paleoenvironmental study of human evolution and dispersion
