Research Interests:

Space telescope observations have revealed the existence of many planets outside our solar system. Nowadays, we can constrain the atmospheric compositions of these exoplanets, characterize them based on their statistical properties, and estimate their evolutionary history, origin of formation, and current surface environment. The diversity of exoplanets differs greatly from the characteristics of the planets in our solar system, and these differences are due to differences in the planet formation process. Through studies of planetary interiors and atmospheric structures and numerical simulations of past astronomical impact events, I aim to gain a unified understanding of the formation processes of solar system and exoplanets and to clarify whether our solar system is universal or special in our galaxy.
