Research Interests:
am interested in the generation mechanisms of earthquakes and related phenomena, particularly a family of phenomena called “slow earthquakes.” I would like to clarify the mysteries of why and how they occur, and whether and how they are related to earthquakes. I am also working on developing new analysis methods for earthquake and geodetic observation data for this purpose.
